What counts as a "conversation"?

A conversation starts when a visitor sends their first message through the chat widget, email, or any DM channel. Follow-up messages in the same thread are part of the same conversation. A conversation that auto-closes and reopens counts as a new conversation.

What happens when I hit my limit?

Three things: you get notified at 80%, 90%, and 100%. At 100%, the AI widget is replaced by a simple contact form so you never lose a customer message. You can upgrade your plan at any time to unlock more conversations immediately.

Can I switch plans mid-month?

Yes. Upgrade anytime - the new quota takes effect immediately. Downgrade at the end of your current billing period.

Is the 7-day trial really free?

Yes. No credit card required to start. You get full access to the Pro plan for 7 days. If you decide Speaq isn't for you, your account simply pauses. No charge.

How does annual billing work?

Pay for 10 months instead of 12. That's a 16.7% discount. You can switch between monthly and annual at any time. Annual plans are billed once per year through Paddle.

What payment methods do you accept?

We use Paddle as our payment provider. They accept credit cards, debit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and wire transfers. Paddle handles all sales tax and VAT automatically.

We offer a 7-day free trial so you can test before paying. After that, we don't offer refunds on past billing periods. You can cancel anytime to stop future charges.

Do you offer discounts for startups or non-profits?

Not currently. Our pricing starts at $19/month - already significantly lower than alternatives like Intercom ($500+/month) or Zendesk ($55/seat/month). We keep prices low for everyone instead of offering selective discounts.
